[originator=SHADOWEPYON]My pokemon DS idea. Making the Dream become a Virtual Reality.
*Do not post your pokemon ideas here*
*Please note. Do not bash my idea saying its not good or wont work or the traditional style is better. This game is not meant to replace the traditional game. It's meant to simulate the TV show and create our own real pokemon world*
-Battle System-
Top Screen: 3D battle
Bottom: Menu Screen
Alright first of all this new battle system is meant to make pokemon as close reality as possible. This means we do away with turn based battles. Now we have a realtime RPG. But this still isn’t right. Since pokemon you are the trainer and not the pokemon you can’t be controlling your pokemon through buttons that takes away the skill of being a trainer. Now the new way to control you pokemon would be through the Mic.
You get more then 4 special attacks now. You get as many as your pokemon can use at his current level so u never have to do away with old moves. Next you get a list of 30 or so movement commands. Such as run, stop jump left right and so forth. You are not limited on using a certain amount of moves so many times. Instead u get a stamina bar and health stats. Based on your stamina u can only do certain moves.. so this is how you control how many and which special attacks can be used. The 3 Menus in battle are easy to use and very organized.
-Command Screen-
Here you will find all of the commands for your pokemon. Based on what pokemon you are using some commands may and my not be there. Such as fly or swim. But most commands are the same basic ones for each pokemon. Once you are used to battling you will not need to look at this screen. The stamina Bar tells you how much stamina you have so you can base you moves on this. Grey commands are not useable due to not enough stamina Blue ones are.
-Stats Screen-
After having experience with the game this is where your main concentration will be. Once you have all your commands and specials down you will only need to keep track of you Stats. Here you have your Health. Which is obviously your life. Your Stamina, which has to do with your pokemons speed, strength and determines which commands you can use. Your special bar, which determines which special attacks, you can use. And your rage bar once full your pokemon can use any special attack and as much as it wants. It’s a sort of unlimited special after a certain amount of time.
-Special Screen-
Here are all of the Special attacks for your Pokemon. As with the commands, you wont need this screen once you know the majority of your attacks. but from time to time you may want to check on it. Also like the command screen blue text are the moves your pokemon can use and gray are unusable based on your special bar. Also a rage alert will come up and notify you when you reach rage.

-Game Play-
Okay. Here’s where me newest idea comes in. This plays off my old one in making Pokemon as much of a reality as possible. Now this new Pokemon wont just be a MMORPG for online Battling. Oh no. That’s just one small part. Here’s my newest greatest idea. Beside the fact that say you walk by someone with the same game you get alerts for battling.
The game will either have a way for a GPS to be built in or come with a GPS peripheral. Nintendo can set up All over the world, different spots everywhere for pokemon. they wouldn’t be scattered though breeds would be found in the same area. so you can walk outside and one day find pikachus. near your house you might always be able to find pikachus kind of like when you look at a map and see where you can find a specific pokemon. Next they can actually have one of each legendary pokemon since they would be incredibly hard to find. Also if you’re near say a beach or an ocean or a lake.. you might find water pokemon. In other words.. this game would literally become as if pokemon were here in real life. Except they are only digital.
Its simple. When u locate a pokemon. You get a menu.
<img src="">
The seasons should also effect what type of pokemon u can get near you. so if its winter then u can get ice pokemon, spring grass so on an so forth it depends where you are and what season.
Also for anyone who thinks this would be too hard. You have to remember. On the show a regular trainer has a handful of pokemon. This makes training them more difficult and important. Also the less pokemon you have the more important it is to trade. Next we cannot forget, the pokemon wouldn’t be spread out very hard to find. They would do it by types of pokemon and based on where you are you can get that type of pokemon also based on season. They would literally be all over the place.
-Special Stuff-
Also cool idea I had. they can have special edition pokeball DS when this comes out. Since all DS's are 2 toned you can have the current silver a nice red and make the black white. It looks like a pokeball when closed.
Also.. maybe there should be Pokemon Thief’s.. so when u see a trainer instead of your regular options you can go total Team Rocket start a gang with your friends an try an steal other peoples Pokemon! If you take notice on trainer spotted you can try and steal their pokemon.[/quote]
Its just an idea, and I think its a great one!
